My art is a reflection of my worldview. I live by this proverb, “It took one to make the world, there is no right there is no wrong.” We are all born from one source; we are one in spite of our perceived differences. I have chosen to paint as a vehicle for the expression of that which binds us, that is love.
The canvas, paint and brush are an extension of my soul. My soul is filled with love and it is the most valuable thing I possess. It is all I have to give. Who and what I am is poured into my art.
Ultimately it is our shared experience that matters most in life. If you take away the personalities we have and those shared experiences there is not much left that can be called living. I paint as an expression of life. I paint portraits because I see life as we know it on the faces of those I encounter.
